How much do we love Jesus? How can we tell? How can we love Jesus more then?
Jesus gave us the formula - He who realized he has been forgiven much loves much.
Lessons:
- The Pharisee Simon did not give Jesus much respect - no water and no kiss whereas the woman gave her ointment, tears, hair, and kisses.
- How much does Jesus mean to us?
- The degree depends on how much we feel we are forgiven.
- It also depends on how much we see and feel Jesus' love for us? John the Disciple always said he was the one that Jesus loved. It resulted in John following Jesus even at the crucifixion. Whereas the one who said he loved Jesus denied Jesus three times.
