The church is our extended family. It is the family of God with Christ as the head.
Lessons:
The church is a family of God's members. We are to treat each other as family members.
1 Timothy 5:1-3 5 Do not rebuke an older man harshly, but exhort him as if he were your father. Treat younger men as brothers, 2 older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity.
John 1:12 says, “But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
